Die Publikation schließt sich im Sinne der Bekanntmachung der neuen Inschriften in Ergänzung der Publikation Rudolf HEBERDEYS Tituli Asia Minoris III,1 (Wien 1941) lückenlos an die von denselben Autoren unter demselben Titel (I–III) in den Sitzungsberichten der phil.-hist. Klasse in den Jahren 1991 bis 1994 veröffentlichten Neufunde an und umfasst die Ergebnisse der wiederum von der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften finanzierten Forschungstätigkeit der Jahre 1992 bis 2002 sowohl im Ruinenfeld von Termessos als auch im Bereiche seiner Chora. Das Werk bietet die epigraphische Auswertung von insgesamt 219, in griechischer Sprache abgefassten Inschriften (religiöse Texte, Ehrungen, Agonistisches, Grabinschriften, Bauinschriften, Meilensteine, Grenzinschriften), welche einen wesentlichen Wissenszuwachs für Topographie, Administration, Onomastik und Religionsgeschichte verschaffen.

This volume is a direct continuation of the research results concerning inscriptions published in the years 1991 to 1994 by the same authors under the same title (Volumes I-III).The new volume comprises the results of research undertaken in the years 1992 to 2002, and includes new findings from the Termessos site and in the area of its chora, research that was again financed by the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The work offers an epigraphical analysis of 219 Greek inscriptions (religious texts, honorary and agonistic inscriptions, gravesite and building inscriptions, milestones, boundary inscriptions), providing a substantial increase in our knowledge concerning the region’s topography, administration, onomastics and religious history.
