Das Repertorium der Inschriften von Mysien ist eine leicht nutzbare Quellensammlung. Die 2170 Inschriften (6. Jh. v. - 6. Jh. n. Chr.) aus dem nordwestlichen Kleinasien beschreiben Alltag und Feste, private Götterverehrung und staatlichen Kult, die kommunale Organisation und zwischenstaatliche Politik. Die Texte sind aus zum Teil schwer zugänglichen Publikationen zusammengestellt; nicht wenige der Steine sind heute verloren. Die Sammlung umfasst zwei Bände und enthält die griechischen und lateinischen Inschriften mit Übersetzung, Kommentar und Literaturangaben sowie 1550 Abbildungen. Die Texte sind geographisch geordnet und alle Fundorte auf Karten verzeichnet. Die Indices werden in einem dritten Band erscheinen. Das Buch richtet sich an ein breites Fachpublikum, z. B. Althistoriker, Archäologen, Philologen und Religionswissenschaftler.

The Repertory of Inscriptions of Mysia is intended to be a user-friendly source collection. The 2170 inscriptions from this region of north-western Asia Minor reveal everyday life, celebrations, private worship, state cults, local organisation and international politics from the 6th century BC to the 6th century AD. The inscriptions have been collected from publications which are often hard to access; many of the stones are now lost. The two volumes offer the Greek and Latin inscriptions with translation, commentary, bibliographical references, and 1550 figures. The texts are presented in geographical order, and all find spots are recorded on maps. Indices will be published in a third volume. The collection is addressed to a professional audience, such as historians, archaeologists, philologists, and theologians.
